INSTRUCTIONS
	ThermaSCENT™Scent Dispenser Improve your chance of having a successful hunt by using ThermaSCENT. This innovative new scent dispersal system heats any attractant or cover scent continuously, getting more scent into the air than ordinary dispensers. Saturate a ThermaSCENT™ mat with any attractant or cover scent (not included). The mat will hold 1/2 ounce of liquid and will continuously release scent for up to 4 hours when heated. Pour 1/2 ounce of attractant or cover scent into a small ziplock bag, then add the mat. Let the mat absorb the liquid. Use a new mat every time you use a different type of attractant or cover scent. Attach the platform to the grill of the scent dispenser. Hook the platform's two feet under the edge of the grill. Then press down on the other end of the platform until it clicks into place on top of the grill. Slide saturated mat under the two tabs on top of the platform. The mat is specifically designed to be longer than the platform. As liquid evaporates from the center of the mat, liquid at the ends of the mat will wick toward the center allowing scent to be dispensed for a longer period of time. Remove scent dispenser cover and butane cartridge cap. Screw the cartridge into the opening of the scent dispenser. Make sure the cartridge is fully inserted by turning it clockwise until it stops. Replace the scent dispenser cover. One ThermaCELL® butane cartridge lasts up to 12 hours. If your scent dispenser fails to heat, it may be out of fuel. Check the fuel level by holding the scent dispenser vertically and looking at the fuel gauge on the bottom of the scent dispenser. You can see the amount of butane in the cartridge. Replace if empty. Slide the "ON/OFF" switch to "ON" position; the butane gas will begin to flow. Wait approximately 5-10 seconds then depress the "START" button three to five times in rapid succession. To verify the scent dispenser is operating, pick it up and check the lens on the end of the scent dispenser. The light at the end of the scent dispenser glows when the scent dispenser is heating. If the light is not glowing, check to make sure the scent dispenser is "ON" and the cartridge is completely screwed into place; then once gain depress the "START" button three to five times in rapid succession. Check to make sure the light is glowing. Place the scent dispenser on a flat, stable area with the grill side facing up. Hunters recommend placing the unit on the ground or below waist height. Do not touch the grill or platform; both will be hot after a couple of minutes. When finished using the scent dispenser, slide the "ON/OFF" switch to the "OFF" position and allow the scent dispenser to cool completely. Fuel is not consumed when the switch is in the "OFF" position. ThermaSCENT can be turned on and off as frequently as desired. Also, a partially full cartridge can be removed or reinserted without losing any fuel. Remove mat from platform. Scent dispenser is now ready for storage. No open flame. Mats with absorbed scent last up to 4 hrs. At a time. Butane cartridge lasts up to 12 hrs. Using ThermaSCENT Outside Place the unit upwind of your hunting location. For use up to 5000 ft above sea level. Do not expose scent dispenser to rain. If scent dispenser gets wet, turn it off and allow it to dry completely before using. Do not expose cartridge to sparks or open flames, temperatures above 120F (50C) or prolonged periods of direct sunlight. Using ThermaSCENT In Cold Weather When temperature is below freezing, start scent dispenser in a warm place and let it heat for 10-15 minutes before going outside. Once outside insert saturated mat. In cold weather remove platform and place saturated mat directly on the grill for optimal scent dispersal. Butane works best when warm. For best results start unit inside. Otherwise keep cartridge in pocket next to body. Cleaning and Care of Scent Dispenser If you plan to use different kinds of attractant or alternate between attractant and cover scent, clean the platform in between uses. To clean, remove the platform from the grill, wash, dry thoroughly, and reattach. Do not clean the platform while it is attached to the scent dispenser. Do not let water or attractant get inside the scent dispenser. Storage Store scent dispenser and cartridges in a cool, dry place away from sources of heat and inaccessible to children and pets. Store used mats separately in a plastic bag. Discard used mats at the end of the season.
